Reveni Terms of Service

Effective date: September 6, 2026

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Illumin LLC, which operates the Reveni service ("Illumin," "Reveni," "we," "us"), governing your use of reveni.space and the Reveni application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Reveni is — and is not

Reveni is a software tool that provides general legal information and case-organization features to help small New York residential property owners understand the procedural steps in a possession matter, see what may be missing, and prepare to work with an attorney. Reveni is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Using the Service does not create an attorney–client relationship, and no attorney–client privilege applies. Reveni is not a substitute for a licensed New York attorney. Housing Court requirements depend on the specific facts of each matter, and the law changes over time; information in the Service may not be complete, current, or applicable to your situation. For advice about your specific matter, consult a licensed New York attorney. If the Service flags a high-risk or unclear issue, you should seek attorney review.

2. No guaranteed outcome

Reveni does not guarantee any result. We do not promise that a tenancy can be lawfully ended, that you will obtain possession, that you will obtain it by any date (including a sale closing date), or any particular court outcome. We do not file anything with any court on your behalf.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to: provide accurate, complete information and keep it current; use the Service only for lawful purposes and only for property matters you are entitled to manage; enter information about other people (such as tenants or occupants) only if you are entitled to provide it, and take responsibility for that information; make your own decisions about your matter and obtain professional advice where appropriate; and never use the Service to attempt an unlawful "self-help" eviction — such as changing locks, removing a tenant's belongings, or shutting off utilities to force someone out. Possession must be recovered through lawful process.

4. Payment terms

Pricing. The Service is offered for $99 per month, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Prices are in U.S. dollars.

Billing. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Cancellation. You may cancel at any time to stop future charges. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then.

Refunds. Payments are non-refundable. Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund amounts already paid. See our Refund Policy for how we handle duplicate charges, failed access, and technical problems.

Access. Paid access provides software features and educational navigation for as long as your subscription is active. It does not purchase legal representation, court filing, attorney–client privilege, or any guaranteed outcome.

5. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service, including by attempting to access other users' data, disrupting the Service, reverse-engineering it, scraping it, or using it to violate any law or the rights of others.

6. Intellectual property

The Service — including its content, software, and design — is owned by Reveni or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own property matters. You keep ownership of the information you enter, and you grant us the rights needed to operate the Service for you.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its information is complete or current.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reveni will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost data, or loss arising from your reliance on the Service or from any court or possession outcome. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Reveni harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of another (including any tenant or occupant).

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York for any dispute not subject to another agreed process.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
