Reveni Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 6, 2026 · Last updated: September 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Illumin LLC, which operates the Reveni service ("Illumin," "Reveni," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use reveni.space and the Reveni application (the "Service"). Reveni is a software tool that helps New York property owners understand the procedural steps in a possession matter and organize their case. Reveni is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice (see our Terms of Service).

We know the information you enter here can be sensitive. This policy is written in plain language so you can understand what we do with it.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account information: your email address (to create and secure your account) and, if you provide it, a display name.
  • Profile information: your property's ZIP code and preferred language.
  • Case information: the answers you enter during intake and as you use the Service — for example, your property type, ownership, tenancy details, your situation, dates you enter, and case stage. This information may include details about other people (such as a tenant or occupant). Please enter only information you are entitled to provide.
  • Payment information: when you pay, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your card details directly. We do not receive or store your full card number. We keep a record that you paid, your plan status, and identifiers from Stripe (such as customer and subscription IDs).
  • Communications: if you contact us, we keep your message and our reply.

Documents

In the current version of the Service, documents you choose to work with are handled in your browser and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. If we later add document storage, we will update this policy and tell you before your documents are stored.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical and usage data: your IP address, browser and device information, and log data, collected by us and our hosting providers to run and secure the Service.
  • Cookies and browser storage: we use cookies and local browser storage to keep you signed in and save your progress. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. Our Cookie Policy lists each item, what it does, and how long it lasts.
  • Third parties your browser contacts: Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on the site and receives your IP address as part of that request. Google Translate loads only if you choose a language other than English. Stripe loads only when you open checkout.

How we use your information

We use your information to: provide the Service — generate your procedural path, save your progress, and track your case; process your payment and manage your subscription; communicate with you about your account, your case (such as reminders you ask for), and support; keep the Service secure, prevent misuse, and fix problems; improve the Service; and comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

How we share your information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

  • Service providers (subprocessors): we use trusted providers to operate Reveni, including Supabase (database, authentication, and hosting), Lovable (application hosting and platform), and Stripe (payment processing). If we enable email/text reminders or translation, we will use providers for those functions as well. These providers may process your information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal and safety: we may disclose information if required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of you, us, or others.
  • Business transfers: if Reveni is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will notify you of any change in control.

How long we keep your information

We keep your account and case information while your account is active and as long as needed to provide the Service, and afterward as needed to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data (see "Your choices and rights").

Your choices and rights

You can: Access and correct your account and case information within the Service, or by contacting us. Delete your account and associated data yourself at any time from Account Settings (when signed in), or by contacting us at privacy@reveni.space. Deleting your account removes your cases, properties, and related records and cancels any active subscription. Some records may be retained where the law requires. Manage billing through the Stripe customer portal, including cancelling your subscription.

New York does not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy law. If you are a resident of a state (such as California) or region (such as the EU/UK) with additional privacy rights, contact us and we will honor the rights that apply to you.

Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, consistent with the New York SHIELD Act. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security breach affecting your private information occurs, we will notify you as required by law.

Children

The Service is intended for property owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
